V – The Second Generation…. Shag’s review with no spoilers – 1 new
——————————————————————–
I got a little homesick reading that, missing V.? Good old V.? Weird to ignore
The Final Battle (which I enjoyed).? I guess homesick is the wrong word.?
Nostalgic seemed too weak, though.? Homesick! Remember, we are your friends. —

Dumb Law, Dumber Representative – 3 new

As far as I know, the popularity of newsgroups, and to some extent the
internet, was ushered along because of anonymity. Taking that away isn’t going
to stop bullying, or stalking, etc. People will find a way. I think if
anything, it would hurt the people it wasn’t intended for, and stifle free
speech somewhat. – Tues, Mar 11 2008 4:57 am

I need power! – 4 new
———————
It was bound to happen someday Doug. You know S, if you waited, you could buy
a used PS from me. I had a 1000 watt for my system, but it made a high pitched
noise. It should be back from the cleaners soon, so I can take out the 500
watt in there. It probably wouldn’t be till this weekend though. Road trip? –

Countdown to Nothing? – 4 new
—————————–
So, now they say Final Crisis will have nothing to do with the events in
Countdown, and that Countdown itself will be resolved by a “Special” called DC
Universe #0 It’s bad enough, I suppose, that what amounted to an 8-issue mini-
series (maybe 12?) got spaced into 52 issues (eight to go!), but to have it
not have anything to do with anything relating to its stated purpose is
unfortunate. – Tues, Mar 11 2008 3:54 pm
